3 Trending Halloween Costumes
October is here and all we can think about is Halloween! If you're anything like us, we love to dress up, but don't really want to go out and spend a $100 on a costume we're only going to wear once. We'd rather put that money towards clothes we can actually wear again so...That's exactly what we did with some of this year's trending costumes. Try out these 3 looks with pieces you can still wear after Halloween.
1.) Eleven from Stranger Things
We had to do this look! Stranger Things not only became one of the most popular and talked about shows on Netflix this year, but it totally took us back down memory lane to some of our old movie favorites like The Goonies, and E.T. The best part is, this look of Eleven is super easy to put together! We paired a simple blush pink bodycon dress with an oversized navy bomber jacket, a pair of mesh tube socks, and simple white sneakers! Make sure to grab a box of Eggos and add that bloody nose with some lip liner to complete the look.

2.) Khaleesi from Game of Thrones
All hail the mother of dragons! Anyone else already thinking about season 7? While the new season is a little far away, we've got your Game of Thrones fix through our Khaleesi costume! To get Khaleesi's look down, you need that flowy maxi dress like our Strappy Goddess Maxi Dress shown below paired with a lightweight chiffon sleeveless jacket, strong gladiator heels, and some statement jewelry pieces. And, if you want to know how we created our DIY dragon egg, see the photo below!

Now if you're wondering how we got that super cool dragon egg (above) for our Khaleesi costume, we have a super easy DIY tutorial below!
Things you'll need:
1.) Styrofoam Egg - Available at your local arts & crafts store.
2.) A few hundred silver thumb tacks
With each thumb tack, push it into the styrofoam until it's all filled up. And, that's it. So easy, right?

3.) Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad
While the movie might've flopped, we still love Harley Quinn! So c'mon, puddin' and try out this look! We paired an embroidered bomber jacket, a simple baseball tee with jogger shorts, added a black waist belt, a gold metal choker necklace, and pulled it all together with a pair of black lace-up ankle booties. For a prop, we chose to go with a mini wooden baseball bat that you can find super cheap at your local target. If you want the fishtail pigtail braids, click here for a quick fishtail braid tutorial! Don't forget to draw a heart on your cheek!
